7 Tips On Selling Your Milwaukee Home Quickly

With the housing industry allegedly set to help things get started after this quarantine is over, there are some things you should know if you're selling your house. Housing markets in areas like Florida tend to be quite volatile while selling your house in Milwaukee is a more stable affair.
Here are some tips that make selling your house easier, and sell for the full cash value.
1. Paint your kitchen cabinets.
-Tired dingy kitchen cabinets don't help folks feel at home in a new place. Buy quality paint, and give your cabinets a refresh. Yellowed and aging hardware is a thing on guitars, not in your kitchen.
-The Roling Stones want to Paint It Black, but that's a terrible idea for your kitchen. Paint it white if you're in doubt about which color to use.
2. Lighting - LED Bulbs
-Replace old incandescent bulbs if you still have some. Use newer LED bulbs with selectable "color temperature." They have them at places like Home Depot in 4 packs for around $12. They really brighten up a room compared to the more yellow light than the other bulbs provide. I bought a few and was amazed at the difference in our home. You will be too.
3. Curtains
-Are your draperies from 1985? 1975? Maybe you're used to them, but they will seem like a time warp for other folks looking to buy. Buy some new ones to make things look more updated.
4. Fix carpeting and flooring.
-Get rid of worn-out old carpeting, first and foremost. You can go with new carpeting or vinyl plank flooring that gets glued down. Your choice. If you have tiles, fix any chipped or broken tiles. Consider doing the grout as well, if you have tiles.
5. Remove pet marks
-Yes, your German Shepherd is the perfect good boy, but new owners won't know that or care. Clean up any holes in the yard, scratches on furniture from cats, or other items.
6. Clean your vents
-Vents tend to get dirty and moldy over the years. Clean them up, even if you think folks won't see them. They will.
7. Use professional cleaners
-Spending a few hundred dollars to have a couple professional cleaners come through will be a big help. They will do a professional job and catch things you'd miss or are just used to seeing.
